When you’re living your life to your full potential, you bring your best to everything you do, increasing your personal and professional effectiveness.
Living your potential means experiencing more satisfaction and joy in life, even in the face of existing obligations and inevitable challenges. When we aren’t living to our potential, we know it and it wears us down. We often try to compensate for it with unsatisfying or unhealthy distractions, avoidance or we just suck it up as part of “real life”.
“Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.”
LIVING YOUR POTENTIAL for Men is a powerful learning experience during which you will gain insights that help you make the mind-set changes necessary to move towards your personal and professional potential and achieve greater satisfaction and happiness. This program is designed to challenge you to move past self-limiting thoughts and patterns of behaviour that inhibit your potential in work, relationships, and life.
During the program, you will:
- gain insight into personal priorities;
- increase awareness of barriers to living those priorities; and
- set goals to move towards your personal and professional potential.
How Does Living Your Potential Impact Work?
How you perform at work is inextricably linked to how you think and feel. The well-being and outlook of an organization’s employees determines its overall success. Many employees possess the technical training, experience, and skills necessary to do their job, but often long-standing patterns of behaviour and limiting beliefs stand in the way of high performance. To fully leverage your skills and training and work to your full potential, you must remove those obstacles.
LIVING YOUR POTENTIAL participants consistently report outcomes that have enhanced their effectiveness at work, including:
- improved mental focus;
- greater engagement and adaptability;
- increased desire to take responsibility and action in problem-solving;
- reduced tendency to procrastinate; and
- higher energy which leads to increased productivity.
A portion of this program will take place at a private outdoor ropes course in Charlottetown. Always in control of determining the level of challenge that best meets your goals, you will safely step beyond your comfort zone to gain insight into how to move past limits to your potential and set goals to get to the place you want to be in life.
Participants are given challenges requiring them to find more effective ways of doing things, to identify barriers to success, and create goal-oriented action plans. Our process includes facilitated challenges, group discussions and opportunities for reflection and application of the learning to your personal and professional life in a way that accelerates growth and change.
Personal Follow Up Calls
Included in the registration fee, each participant will receive a follow-up call to encourage continued movement towards goals.
Registrants may also wish to receive additional one-on-one calls from Kirstin or Karolyn following the program to focus on achieving specific personal and professional goals or to deal with specific issues or challenges. More information on timing and cost of one-on-one calls available HERE.
Registration Fees are $995 plus hst and includes light snacks, lunch during day-long sessions, materials, and a personal follow up call. Enrollment is limited to 8 and, as such, we cannot hold seats without full registration and fee payment.
If you are an owner or manager of a private-sector business, you may be eligible for cost-sharing funding to offset the program cost. You can find more information HERE.
Employers recognize the work-related value of the Living Your Potential program and often financially support their employees to attend. You may find it useful to include this LIVING YOUR POTENTIAL Program Brochure in your funding request to your employer.

What people are saying about LIVING YOUR POTENTIAL…
At Winding Path Inc. your experience remains confidential, however, from time to time, clients encourage us to share their experience with others.
“Going to the Winding Path workshop turned out to be the best possible use of my time. As a result of the workshop I am different, I am doing things differently, I am interacting differently and interacting with new people. The changes in me are leading to new results, better results – everything is just falling into place. The confidence and openness I feel now seems to draw people in and draw in better results. It’s like people want to ride the wave with me. I picture my future differently since the workshop. I feel really empowered. I feel like smiling all of the time. I am facing new challenges, not avoiding them. The workshop changed my life and I now see my future differently. I haven’t felt like this in a long time, if I ever did.”Susan Zambonin, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity PEI.
Sometimes past participants have something really special to share with us, and writing it down doesn’t allow them to express themselves fully. Dominique Chouinard shares some of the impacts for her in this video. And Jill Chandler shares her impacts of participating in the Living Your Potential program in song.
“I’ve taken a lot of workshops and courses during my 30 year public service career and can honestly say the “Living Your Potential Workshop” is one of the best I’ve ever taken. From the first email I received from Karolyn and Kirstin, I had a feeling it was going to be a life changer and that’s exactly what it turned out to be. I discovered deep rooted beliefs that were keeping me stuck in self-limiting thought and behaviour patterns, preventing me from reaching my full potential, both personally and professionally. The workshop leaders created a safe and supportive environment that allowed me to dig deep below the layers of fear and doubt where I discovered a source of great inner strength and courage that had been lying dormant for many years. I’m excited about the future and am more committed than ever to taking personal responsibility to live out my life purpose and not settle for anything less.”
